Fansipan Mount

With the height of 3143 meters, Fansipan is the highest mount in Vietnam as well as the whole area of Indochina. Since 2013, the cable car has gone into operation, which makes the adventure more accessible to average travelers. From the top of the mountain, you will see the extraordinary scenery of endless clouds under your feet.

Cat Cat Village

Two kilometers to the South from the center of Sapa, Cat Cat village is one of the most worth-visiting attractions of Sapa. People from different mountainous tribes live here, which creates a colorful and vibrant cultural life. Moreover, the hill village owns a wonderful natural scene. It is home to the outstandingly beautiful terraces, stream, and waterfalls.

Muong Hoa Valley

Located in Hau Thao, 8 kilometers away from Sapa, Muong Hoa Valley is the real star of Sapa. For more convenience, the cable cars are installed. From the cabin, you can get the breathtaking scenery of the whole valley. Muong Hoa is famous for its wonderful rice terraces, a dreamy stream running through the valley, and small lovely villages lying among rice field.

Ham Rong Mountain

Ham Rong and the Stone Church are inseparable attractions due to its closeness in location. On the top of the mountain is “Door to Heaven” which is also a must for visitors to Sapa. The Door to Heaven is actually the name people gave to the highest place of the mountain, from which you can feel as if you’re close to the sky, or in other words, at the heaven door. This door to heaven will open an incredible scenery of the town beneath.

Bac Waterfall

Ba Waterfall is the most stunning waterfall in Sapa. The name Bac literally means “silver” which is meant to describe the shining looks of the waterfall. A cross-over bridge will help you take a close-up look at this wonderful waterfall.

Ta Van Village

9 kilometers from the center of the town center, Ta Van is a far-away destination; however, it is still worth a visit due to the utterly beautiful natural scenery. It is more tranquil and primitive than the town center. You will get more chance to look at the real life of the people of the hill tribe.
